Thomas's passion for vehicles started at a very young age and has grown exponentially over the years. He enjoys adventuring and overlanding - much of which has been done in a Volvo! His main vision for TEC Vehicle Consulting, is to focus on the second hand Volvo market - which is largely untapped. Having owned around 50 Volvo's to date, he has become a bit of a Volvo specialist - learnt by experience. With a Bcom Management Sciences at Stellenbosch and around 7 years management experience, he is more than equipped to run the business side as well...

With over 20 years of experience, Swedespeed do all our Volvo's servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs. They have allowed Thomas to observe services being done, as well as advised on what is or is not vital to look at in the older Volvo models. Swedespeeds owner, Markus Franz, has taught me a lot about the product and has recently given me the sole right of resale of all his vehicles.

One side that Thomas is very passionate about, is the versatility of the Volvo SUV range and how with a few modifications the vehicles can be adapted to Southern African conditions and for overlanding / adventuring. Winelands 4x4 have worked with Thomas since 2012 on various items like: roof racks and tents, engine plates, second battery systems, built in air compressors and custom draw systems for his various Volvo's.
